That's your model, right ... ? That's 110kw - but I'm guessing your exhaust and other little things count the extra 8KW?

Just to give you an idea of a few other (coastal) times :

That Alfa is marginally faster time than a 2000 Toyota Corolla 1.6 and a 1998 Honda Civic 1.5i? It's slower than a VW Citi Life to 100km/h ... and far, far slower than a Fiesta ST and Polo GTI.

With the Polo GTI's turbo, it's time is still slightly under 8.5 seconds (not JK8s sub 5 second version, though) compared to your rough 11.5 seconds at reef.

Any idea what 3 seconds actually looks like ... ?

remember that time when the STi came out in S.A??? Said is the fastest production car in S.A - M5 drivers of the time had none of that...then BMW said if they were to even catch an M5 at a racing track against the new STi...it would be waranty's gone! On paper the STi killed the M5...not so bru, lol like I said, speaking things from what you read and what you've seen is totally different scenario - you seem to be speaking more of what you've read, the typical school boy approach LOL - I don't blame you. So black and white gives a 10.22 seconds ... and I suppose there's a 30% variance between vehicles, eh? So some models are actually 7, others 8 and some poor people get 13 seconds? Do you comprehend how utterly ridiculous you sound right now? :/

Look, I know it's Alfa, but I don't even think they have a huge variance like that :/ At the end of the day, it's still only a NA 2.0 ... and IIRC, the quickest NA 2.0 is above 8 seconds. By the way, the average variance is +-3% - which means that if that example tested was the worst, the best would get a 9.6 seconds ... equalling a Citi Life 1.6i ...

Let's get serious for a second - if 10 different magazines get a car between 10 and 11 seconds consistantly- what makes you (with your exhaust) get 7 seconds of all a sudden? Just a super driver?

Go read my other thread...at highlands on iPhone app I get 8 sec dead 0-100, now if you like me know iPhone apps...that things telemetry is out, I'd say best I can get with my exhaust and remap (read fast stuff) i'd say is 8.5 or 8.7...

LOL i don't think you read the thread mate, the GTI kills me in 1st, 2cnd and only in 3rd I'll come catch up, 4th I eat a little and 5th I eat marginally, as stated earlier, you cannot compare 0-100 times when I state i killed it in 3rd, 4th adn 5th lol - did you skip standard 1 where they taught you to read without bias???LOL

I get some torque steer in 3rd, its not one of my weaker gears, and even if your 3rd is strong, you wont make up the 1st and 2nd lead.
If I drop from 5th to forth at 120kph i get 180 very very quick...

So if a Pgti wins in 1st and 2nd gear you never gonna catch it.

Nobody buys a 147 for its speed so why brag about that as a selling point? That's rediculous. They are slow. If you want to market your car talk about the handling and the styling. You are making an idiot of yourself. The 147 is quite a bit heavier than the polo and slower in stock form period. You can't compare your 'modded car' to a stock polo gti. Every single chipped polo gti out there will cream you. That engine does 132kw with just software. Modded Polo 1.9 TDI's have beaten stock Golf GTIs (15.5s) in 1/4 mile. Compare apples with apples. You're just embarressing your brand. LMAO
