I got a new vodacom phone(SE C702) and tried to use it as a modem on my home pc.
I have used a vodacom huaiwaiaiei modem before and all the settings were set automatically.
Now I tried to connect to the internet with the Sony PCSuite software, but it said it failed to connect with 3G and it should try GPRS. This didn't work either.
I had a look in connection settings and the older huiwaieie settings looked the same as the new settings.
I can browse the internet on the phone itself and I asked the salesman at the shop if I would be able to use it as a modem. He said yes.
What other settings can I check or change?
