Using telkom email on local cap?

Hi,

I did post this question somewhere else, and I apologize but I really need an answer ASAP. Can you use telkom's email with local only cap? It seems fairly obvious that you should, I just need to be dead certain!

Yes you can - As long as the mail server is Telkoms and/or located within SA.

You can receive your mail using pop3.telkomsa.net and you can send mail using smtp.telkomsa.net, if you have problems, you can turn on authentication and use your mail login and password to authenticate with the mail servers.

Just make sure that you are not explicitly using saix proxy

A question that's burning me is what is a local cap? Is it the same as the mybroadband cap that I have hanging on my cupboard door?

Local bandwidth with a certain threshold (ie. 1,2,3 GB), then you get capped if you exceed it. Capisce?
