I have been using a US AppleID ever since I had my first Apple device, but I want to create a 2nd SA AppleID to make use of the cheaper song costs (R0.99 vs $1.29). I still use the US account to stream the latest movies, but when the movies are released in the SA store (eventually!), they are significantly cheaper than in the US store.

I do know that using a Delaware state for the US account saves on sales tax, but the Rand/$ exchange rate went to the dogs, so it might be more viable to make some purchases from the SA store.

What is the best way to do this? Family Sharing requires all accounts to be in the same country store, so this is a dead end.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Ja it's a bit of a catch-22, to be honest... iBooks, audio-books and the few other things that are US only are nice – but with the exchange rate, I baulk at actually purchasing anything... So it does become quite tempting to go ZA store all-in, and benefit from the music/movies side of things...

No real easy-answer to this...
