Data Transfer

What about the contacts. Will I be able restore the contacts from the Memory Card or PC Suite?

You can also save your contacts, calendar and gallery files in your old nokia phone using the data transfer as a backup. Once the upgrade is done you can transfer them back to the n95 again.

I dont like the sounds of this.

Hey cool it guys...

It works 100%

i have not restored my backups yet.

disappointed with standby plugin - thought nokia would have added it on...

GPS is somehow working very fast - have a lock in under 18 seconds....can it be the assisted GPS? i would have thought that the assisted GPS would only make a diff in Europe...

WIfi working 100% just as version 10 was 100% for me

Phone is definitely working much faster overall

I read that you can trial the GPS navigation now...will try that soon

Major difference between V10 and V12. The speed is excellent. Haven't tried the GPS yet. Will do that tonight.

Does anyone know the official word regarding warrantee and support if you switch to an unbranded firmware?
I've been digging around on the international forums and it seems as if Vodafone UK isn't too likely to help out those that changed their product codes.

Yeah I'm a wuss, I want the extra features and stability, but I'm *** scared to end up with a 10 grand brick :p

Once you have changed your product code and loaded the new firmware can you change your product code back to your original?
