V380 IP Camera

I emailed these guys: [email protected]
but it's actually quite simple:
create a file called ceshi.ini in root directory of sd card containing the below:
[CONST_PARAM]
rtsp=1

Turn camera off, insert sd card, boot camera, wait a while, turn camera off, remove sd card, boot camera

After I had done that, the camera updated its firmware and RTSP port was now open.

I have these cameras: https://www.banggood.com/EU-Plug-Xi...om-xiaomi-youpin-p-1527553.html?rmmds=myorder

Thanks for that. I'm not a tech fundi....... will try to create that file. Ask me to weld files together - Easy

it's very easy - just create a txt file, edit it and place the above two lines in it, save it and rename it to ceshi.ini

I have one of these cameras, and you get what you pay for. Cheap chinese crap. You have the V380 app, and thats that.

If you want a proper camera, pay a proper price.

Thanks for the info. Bundn. I have ordered one of these cameras and I use iSpy. Did you need to do anything to get it working on iSpy?

Yes, you need to set a fixed IP using the APP and then email [email protected] with your Firmware version - they will then send you a ceshi.ini file that you must put in the root directory of your sd card and boot the camera with it - this opens the RTSP or ONVIF - afterwards, delete the ceshi.ini file from sd card

I myseld had a headache to setup mine, luckily its sorking now and the v380 Pro app is workable

Yes, my Xiaovv B7 still record to SD card

Good day, please I tried to update the firmware of my xiaovv b7 (mvr3120s-b7), but now it's bricked. Can someone assist with manual download and instructions on how to get it working. Thanks all

Reset is not working, and they are yet to respond to my several mails.
when you say it's bricked, is there no reaction from camera when it powers up?
Did you previously have it connected to your router and the app worked?
Have you booted it with the ceshi.ini file to open the RTSP port?

Thanks for your quick response. When I power on the camera, it only flashes the LED and that's all. Yes it was previously connected and the app worked. On the last question, the answer is no. Awaiting your response. Thanks

ok, the leds flashing sounds positive - I have a couple of these and other Xiaovv cameras and have upgraded their FW online - they do sometimes give you the feeling that they are stuffed, but mine have always come back to life
When you reset the camera, it reboots into AP Hotspot mode, so if you have the Android app called WIFI ANALYZER, you should be able to see if the camera is available - if so, you should be able to get it connected to your router..... if not, you're probably stuffed - I would reset it a couple of times and then check the above - good luck

I registered just to say thank you for the detailed information. I bought 2 x noname brand ipcameras via Takealot and found they were V380 on setting up. Initially could only get it working on the V380 app, but after following instructions to flash with ceshi.ini, I managed to set it up in ISpy on Windows too. Still struggling with SecuritySpy on Mac though. I use SecuritySpy for remote viewing, but in the interim are using VNC to view the ISpy screen on Windows pc. Thank you for sharing.
