It's been 9 months since my meter started leaking, numerous calls and emails later and they still couldn't be bothered
 
Vaal dam level has ticked up in the last couple of days. Note, the sterkfontein water has not yet arrived.

Indeed

Once the Sterkfontein flow arrives, the inflow is going to go to at least 60m3, probably 90, and above that if there's rain in the catchment areas.

None from the emails (I don't get a RTS error so I'm sure they're going through) and from the phone calls, they're written on a piece of paper somewhere

So 90m3/s equates to ~0.3% per 24hours

Off course, since water is also being pumped out. Just trying to put the numbers in context. And what did you say was evap %/day?

Sterkfontein is 1 of 3 dams (that I could find) that have shown an increase in %fill compared to last week. So even though water is being released , the level is rising. Water from the catchment area or pumped in from other sources?

Sterkfontein is mainly supplied by pumping from the tugela vaal scheme. Obviously localised rain can fill it a bit, but it's a very small area.
 
Would any of yesterday's colossal rainfall have made it into the dams?
