Played it a bit last night. So far so good. Its going to be a really addicting, time consuming game.

The game doesn't really help you too much, but its easy to figure stuff out. There is a bit of a grind, but just enough so you feel a sense of accomplishment when you do something. I personally love the art style and it seems like there is a LOT to do on a huge procedural generated map.

Has anyone else tried it?

I’ve been wanting to get it. Think I’ll grab it tonight

Looks interesting, but in recent years I've given far too much money to early access games that have gone nowhere.

It's great.
Singleplayer or multiplayer

So far the best early access title I've ever bought.

Sweet if anyone wants to jam, add me on steam.

Great game. Survival mechanics are decent and not super in depth or tedious. A blast with friends, as it's meant for Coop but can be enjoyed solo. Surprisingly good building options too. Has a bright future. Bonus points for regional pricing - costs less than half of what US players would pay. Not much reason NOT to buy it unless you absolutely have no interest in this genre.

As for art style it reminds me of a PS1 game with modern post processing effects in a way. Absolutely destroys your GPU, far from decent optimization.

Oh and it takes 1GB of space, thanks to the low res textures and procedural generated maps.

Played it for about 4 hours yesterday, it’s a good time. The texture red is low but the lighting and weather effects are really good so it still looks quite good. Kills the GPU though, needs optimization stat.

I’m just about ready to approach the Black Forest

I had more immersive fun in Conan Exiles, Atlas, ...

While it is "ok" for what it tries to be it is no where near (setting, lore, etc) that Valnir Rok tries to be. Rather a npc with a crow skin wanting to be Muninn but ultimately fails as just reads for you what you should do next. If you want some 'sandbox survival' on the side it is "ok" but coop. I found it utterly boring trying to wing it alone valnir style.

Worst part, or one of its really bad parts is part snapping to other parts. I've really had better, but it tries hard to be Citadel: Forged with Fire.

Yes.

It is hideous and combat is still very clunky.

The mechanics look interesting but proper roadmap would be nice.

You will be told otherwise.

I'm enjoying it. It adds some actually hard fights, base defense, little cave instances and monster houses etc.

First time gamer and I like Valheim, easy to run and fun. I am looking to try multiplayer but have zero friend online. If anyone would like to play or suggest any other interesting games pls invite https://s.team/p/knv-tkwd/tknhcqdn
