Selling a very unique project that has been in the making for the last 2.5 years.

It has been featured in Speed and Sound magazine a couple of times in the fabrication section.

My dream was to build a hybrid taxi with a Lamborghini theme as the body kit was shaped after a Lambo Aventador and imported from Japan and made by SAD-Customs.

So It was decided to mid-mount a Toyota 5.0 V12 engine and to add two big turbos. Not as easy as it seems as the body had to seriously be strengthen and strong sub-frames fabricated. A bespoke intake was designed and fabricated incorporating 12 individual trumpets. 12 Porsche 911 GT3 Bosch injectors are used. A Maxx ECU is installed and to cool the intake air two large water to air charge cooler is used. On the last run using octane booster, we made 442Kw. As this taxi had to be a daily commuter the power had to come in gradually so a brand new TCI Streetfighter 3 speed auto box good for 750hp was used. What made this setup work is that the box has a high stall speed converter installed which allows you to rev up the motor before launch and this allows the turbos to spool up giving a strong pull off when needed. If you pull off normally the turbos hardly spool up so you use the power as if you are driving a normally aspirated 5.0 V12 – so no drama just a gentle cruise.

The power is transferred to a Ford Mustang with limited-slip diff. Audi R8 wheels that were widened at the back to help keep the power to the road.

The body was sprayed in Lambo red with Cyrillic pearl giving it an orange tint in the sun but red in the shade. It is an amazing color and makes this taxi stand out.

The interior is not completed but will be done in the next 2 months. Two Sparco comfortable bucket seats are installed and the back will have a bench seat shaped like three bucket seats. 3 Point harnesses will be installed all around. The dash is replaced with a Dashtech dash unit as used on the Ariel Atom and an OMP race steering wheel is used. The idea with the interior is to match the outside theme so charcoal soft automotive leather with red stitching will cover most parts. Bespoke sound boxes will be fabricated and installed. The interior will be the cherry on the cake.

Seeing that the interior is not completed it gives you the opportunity to decide on color and materials used. The interior cost is part of the selling price.
