Vbox Sharing files.

For some reason I cannot seem to add a share drive on my Vbox Xp installation.
I'm running it on Win 7 Ultimate.

The software for my cnc router will not run on 7 because 7 does not recognize the dongle.
So all I want to use the vbox install for is transferring the files to the router.

I went to devices at the top of the Vbox window, went to Shared Folders, and added it there.
What then? I still cannot see the folder in XP. Is there something I need to do in the virtual install?

On a related note, does anyone know how to crack a dongle?

Have you installed the Virtualbox guest additions?

If yes, then you should be able to map a folder to the shared drive, via tools->map network drive (in My Computer in your guest OS)
select a drive letter, and point the path to \\vboxsvr\sharename
