Verbatim External from Telkom Direct

Hi this might seem totaly unrelated to the forum topic but I want to know is it worth getting the External HDD from Telkom: http://www.telkom.co.za/products_services/equipment_accessories/accessories/verbatim_500/index.html
How would one go about getting this?

Yeah I got today's catalog and the same HDD is on special for R799 I think.

I might go to Makro for a 1 TB.

I dont trust Hi-Fi Corp. Esp with a hard drive - too fragile
I have seen esquire pricelist on this site (search for it) - had the 1.5tb for abt R1200.
