very high speed Fine

I say a speed time limit should be put in place after 12 it should be open game on the highways the only problem with that is that the young kid in is golf is going to try and get 200km/h and probably end up killing himself not forgetting the drunk drivers that time in the morning. still like the auto baan idea a lane from JHB to DBN just for sports cars and when i mean sports cars i mean 2seater coupes not 4door family cars on steroids.

what about the m5, maserati quattroporte, c e s 63(5) amg and so on, i mean, they beat the ***** out of a 350z or even the beginners porsche club... and they are much safer, well for what thats worth....:)

yeah sure by all means what i meant by 4door family cars i mean Fanie from brakpan in his old 19 foetsek backyard ford with his home made turbo conversion.

Check at www.payfine.co.za. Give me a pm when you're in jail and I'll bring some mac and cheese for you. :D

If I get pulled over, I am going to jail... 18 outstanding fines :p

My S2000's giving issues, so no more fines :( Not sure what happened... was going fine...tried to go into VTEC, car shuddered, CEL came on, car died. Pulled over, gave it a few seconds, started fine, CEL was off... drove about 5km, same thing happened again... made it to a petrol station, refueled, and its been fine since - I'm hoping it was dirty fuel, considering the tank was low, and after the refuel it was fine - but Honda will only help me on Monday, and probably charge me for getting the malfuction code.

Does anyone know where to get a ODBII USB dongle in SA?

Hows about you save yourself the cash for fines and a jammer and just drive the legal limit hows that idea.

Bit hard to go 60km/h when you reach 110km/h in second gear. Reality is sometime you have to rush somewhere. Just protect yourself eg Laser Jammer, non reflective number plates etc

Illegal, illegal and once again illegal. Getting caught in a trap is a lot better at the end of the day than getting caught using illegal methods of avoiding traps....

Disagree, I would rather befined for jammer than pay R8000 for going 200k/h. New jammers are also so small and can be hidden behind grill that it is not visible. Do not become a victim of the traffic departments.

www.laserpro.co.za

Fact is this guy would not have this issue if he had a jammer!

Actually, the fine for getting caught with a jammer or similar device/ implementation is around R10000....

I do not know who told you that the device is illegal but it is not. The use of the device needs to be proven which has never been proven in any SA court.

Do you know how a jammer works? It blocks the initial reading then allows u to slow down then it switches off, so by the time they try again they will get ur legal speed reading.

Where did you get R10 000 from?

Dude wake up. Any monkey knows it is illegal. It's called obstruction of justice for one....

Did anyone say it was not? Point is the cop needs to prove it which cannot be done beyond reasonable doubt.
