Video Software with Special settings

I am looking for a video editing software,

What i want to be able to do is to use my personal videos and then of-course certain music, so the music has to play and then in a certain position to have the music play softer as the video sound comes to the foreground and then the video sound will fade out and with the music playing again at its normal volume level.

It has to be some sort of fade in and out but the music should never disappear only the video fades in and out at certain times.

Can anyone give suggestions for such software

No prob, though I'm not an expert and I know that's not cheap software but I believe it's good.
 
Vegas is very powerful and will do what you want. You can either click and drag audio track volume levels to fade in and out manually, or fiddle with audio envelopes to automate volume changes. I've never done what you want specifically with audio envelopes, but it should be possible.

Well from what i have read so far it seems to be quite pretty powerful piece of software.
