videos to ipad

im stuck in bed till sunday. im wanting to stream media from the server to the ipad. if you have done it please explain. ive done it via my android TAB but havent looked at the ipad yet.

server is running OpenElec Gotham i think

I use air video HD, you however need the air video server installed on the machine that has the videos - then simply browse the server and play/stream the videos to your iPad

therein lies the complecation. running openelec. ill update the OP
