Seriously? Your too proud to buy a used or refurbished phone because your not a hobo…. So you rather spend the same money on brand new junk…I'm sad that I will have to spend this kind of cash on a phone, but here goes. It's a business phone but business has been struggling.

No, you keep buying rubbish. Goedkoop Koop is duur Koop.To be honest, I have badluck with tech in terms of things giving issues. It is just what it is.
Would still be better at doing what you need it to do.I look at the iPhones. Anything for that price is a couple of years old secondhand trash. What the heck....
You aren’t going to get a business capable smartphone for R4k, not new or second hand.So my budget was R4000. Now I am at R8000. Now you want me to go another 4K above that.
On what planet do you people live?
To be fair I wouldn't call R8k goedkoop. It's outrageous that a phone can cost as much today as a car cost 30 years ago.No, you keep buying rubbish. Goedkoop Koop is duur Koop.
My phone carries my whole life including bank cards and loyalty cards etc. etc.To be fair I wouldn't call R8k goedkoop. It's outrageous that a phone can cost as much today as a car cost 30 years ago.
R8.5KSeriously? Your too proud to buy a used or refurbished phone because your not a hobo…. So you rather spend the same money on brand new junk…

Seriously though, can’t you buy a higher specced phone on your credit card and pay it off over a few months? At R12-15k you will get a lightly used or refurbished S series or Apple, and I guarantee you, if you go for the Apple, it will serve you well for at least 3 years, if not longer.
Well, 30 years ago, phones could make calls, and not much else, and a cell phone/car phone was not something most people could afford. Relatively speaking phones have become a lot cheaper over the last 30 years. But business orientated high end smart phones are seriously packed with tech, and what they allow you to do, is where their real value lies.To be fair I wouldn't call R8k goedkoop. I'm not buying a used phone. A car yes. A phone no. That said, thanks to the collapse of the rand, and massive inflation, phones, like most other things, are much more expensive in SA than what they should be.
Plus, if you have a look at this article from myBB:To be fair I wouldn't call R8k goedkoop. It's outrageous that a phone can cost as much today as a car cost 30 years ago.
You pay peanuts you get monkeys.Goedkoop Koop is duur Koop.
You don't know what you're talking about. Lol @ junk. He already said he doesn't want a second hand Apple, yet here you guys are still trying to convince the guy to buy someone else's cum-stained phone...Seriously? Well, he has told us exactly what he needs the phone to be able to do, and a used or refurbished iPhone would solve tick all his boxes, and then some. You don't know what you're talking about. I'm not buying old secondhand Indian junk. Move on.Well, he has told us exactly what he needs the phone to be able to do, and a used or refurbished iPhone would solve tick all his boxes, and then some.
Buying Chinese junk like Xiomi or Poco, or Axx Samsungs and then whining about performance because he has some objection to a pre-owned iPhone is a bit daft.
Where do you think those "premium" iPhones are assembled? You can also add India and Vietnam to the list...Well, he has told us exactly what he needs the phone to be able to do, and a used or refurbished iPhone would solve tick all his boxes, and then some.
