I'm sad that I will have to spend this kind of cash on a phone, but here goes. It's a business phone but business has been struggling.

Im looking at this:

Check this out on takealot: POCO X7 Pro 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM - Yellow

This is way above my budget, so something cheaper will be better.

Must be double the speed of a Samsung A25.

Lots of storage.

Big screen. I use it for BIMx and House Plans and Walk-through.

Big battery.

Big ram.

Very bright screen, 1000 nits+

Snappy snappy fast fast fast

Multi Task.

NFC u later

It must just be lekker.

Not refurbished or second hand. I'm not a hobo.

It's more than double the speed of that A25. It's on par with last year's flagships...

How can it be a 512GB ROM?
AI search
In modern smartphones, "ROM" is often used interchangeably with "internal storage" due to historical reasons and the nature of how the operating system is stored. While ROM traditionally meant Read-Only Memory, where data could not be modified, modern smartphone storage is actually flash memory, which is writable. However, the term "ROM" persists because the operating system and essential system files are stored in a partition that is often mounted read-only, mimicking the behavior of traditional ROM

That is a really decent phone, it will be far more than double the A25. Plus are you sure you're not a hobo?

ngl I was expecting price to be much higher

I've ordered the Poco x7 Pro. It's takealong, so I have a week to change my mind.

Keep posting better alternatives meeting my requirements.
if this next device, whatever it is fails, can we get your word that you will try an S-series after to see if you are really the problem?

Im not S-pending that kind of money on a phone.

the S24SE can be had for around R12k for the 256GB version (around R10k to R11k for the 128GB) and its really worth that kind of money because it gives you 90% of the hardware of the S24 and S24+ and once you update to One Ui7 around 97 to 98% of the identical software

between the Samsung and the Poco X series i would consider the Sammie - it just does a little more, but if you were looking at the Poco F series then its no contest i would just get the Poco F series
