Who cares where it’s made? I’m not an idiot, I am well aware of where my iPhone are made. Those other devices aren’t cheap Chinese (or indian) of whatever else junk because of where they are made, it’s because of why they are made/for who they are made.

Till you give it a try. Forget about all the comparison charts in the world. Just give one a go and use it for a while in every day business case use scenarios, and you will see it trumps everything else.

I don’t replace my old iPhone with another iPhone because of what the reviews say or what’s printed on some spec sheet, I replace it with another iPhone because experience has shown me it is the superior tool for the job.

As above, I don’t think most iPhone users care about the geekbench data. Real life experience trumps that every day. I have used androids that trump my iPhone on paper on a couple of different projects before (because there are use cases where the open source nature of Android is required), and no matter what the specs on paper say, the hardware and software on an iPhone is so optimised to one another, it will outperform devices that are supposed to be significantly better on paper.

Most iPhone user are sheep 🐑

If I get an iPhone it will be the latest one or nothing. I'm not buying old Indian junk just because it is overpriced and I can't afford something better that's overpriced.

I'll rather invest in an iPad or Airpad that's actually useful.

My last post on the issue, but could you tell us why exactly? You have started a number of threads complaining about your low budget Android phones performance (the Axx Samsung specifically).

You have also in this thread said exactly what you mainly need your phone to do.

And a refurbed (or even a brand new iPhone 13 for a little more money), will be far superior for they specific use case scenario.

So, why are you so against something like an iPhone 13 (new or used), if it objectively and subjectively will outperform anything you are actually willing to buy?

He prefers charging his phone by plugging it in like a hobo. Lol that Poco doesn’t even have wireless charging.
 
I think the bootloop is linked to battery and usually starts happening between year 3 - 5.

So stupid that phone batteries are not easily replaceable without paying a premium.
 
My Redmi Note 9s is currently in the drawer bootlooping.

My wife's Redmi also probably around 5 years or more old, has now started bootlooping.

She will get my Samsung A25 until we have saved up for the latest iPhone at R30 000 a pop.
 
R4k cheapie every year for 4 years. Could have gotten a flagship for the same price that will last 4 years + with no frustration.
R8k midrange every 2 years. Could have gotten a flagship that will last 4 years + and no frustration.
