Virgin angels' wings clipped

Stupid conservative people. They don't seem to see the funny side of the ad. A pity since it's one of the best ads I've seen on TV for a long time.

Darn, I'll have to capture a copy while it is still running.

Let's ban Virgin!

Lets ban Virgin for caving! And let all our gym memberships go! And not get their stupid credit card! We want a mobile operator who can stand up against the big networks! If they cave in for fake "Christians" (they are not real Christians) how will they stand up against MTN/Vodacom/Cell C/Telkom/SNO?

If the CEO of MTN calls Richard Branson and tell him to increase they price are they going to roll-over and play dead?

I'm sorry to say it - but these people don't have the balls to change the market - and this stupid decision to remove the ad shows it.

Think I saw one on YouTube once upon a time. Anyone remember that?

Since when is heaven the soul [ its on purpose ] domain of christians ?
There was no reference to God

Virgin stand up and don't be brow beaten by folks who push faith ..

hmmm, are'nt theire only one Heaven? (like in there is only one GOD?)
No every Christian sect has their own version of god and heaven. And every religion has its own god(s) and heaven(s). There's no monopoly in the afterlife :)

Or Jewish heaven. Genocide on god's orders.

everything said in this post is tongue in the cheek and note to be taken seriously
Too late I'd already declared a holy war against you.

//now, if a devout muslim dies as a martyr in battle do they get a virgin contract in heaven?
No they get automatically released from their mobile contract at one of the others.

Now you understand how they've been persuading these guys to blow themselves up :D

It's go blow urselve up or we give you a telkom account :D :D

Mahatma Ghandi (stand corrected) said: 'Everyone would be Christian if it wasn't for Christians.'

People need to differentiate between religion and Christianity, there's a vast diff. The dominee watches too much TV instead of focusing on 'the great commission'.

hhhmmm... just realised something.

It has the same likings of what the Muslims did when the images of their prophet were published in the UK and eventually got the images banned / retracted.
The dudes went ballistic, locally and abroad.

IMO they are all a bit over-sensitive.

What a cunning choice of words. :D

/me waiting for some religious person to complain about this thread. tsk tsk you guys are so naughty joking about religion.

I think the whole problem is that none of these religious people can take a joke about their own religion but are quite happy to mock someone elses, and then all hell breaks loose. :)

so true!

Some of the world's best comedians make most of their living from poking fun at religions. Lewis Black, George Carlin, hell even Richard Pryor had much to say about religion in many of their comedies. George Carlin is probably one of the most daring in terms of his religion *jokes*.
