I just phoned Virgin customer care for the first time. I was speaking to an operator within 20 seconds. And I didn't have to go through any annoying
"press 7 for ...."-menus at all!

Who needs 3G?

These famous words feel right for this moment:

"Do you feel lucky... punk?!?" :D

That's all you got dude, LUCKY :)

They bs you with rubbish if you have a problem ... but I agree that they answer quickly :P

... probably sales....

Same as an insurance company... if you phone sales, they answer immediately... if you phone support, policy services, etc...you're on hold for ever.... goes to show.

I pay more tax than some people earn, and they refuse to grant me a R149pm phone contract because I havent shown credit worthiness using an edgars card or the like :( I have credit cards etc, but apparently those arent good enough. So screw it, im staying with Vodacom.

Lol ... I've only ever had 1 credit card and a previous vodacom contract completely in my name ... I'm only 21 in June ... but because of the above 2 I have a brilliant credit record and I got the 199 contract ... go figure

initially, their call centre was great. After a few months, the call quality deteriorated to such an extent that I could eventually not understand the agent. I then just switched to email and usually received a reply within a few hours.

I am with Vodacom now as VM only gives new subscribers free phones, and I needed an upgrade.

On the internet we decided on the R299 HTC Vox contract that stated it is R299 plus lifetime unlimited sms's per month. On the first month I were billed on all sms's. I called the call centre, and the mistake were corrected apparently it were loaded onto the wrong acc. started having problems not receiving, making calls, sending or receiving sms's/mms, could not connect to the internet at all. ONCE again the call centre were called, a call were logged with the so called Data centre and I were promised that someone will contact me within 24 hrs, well that call got lost! On the 14th of April the call centre were called 3 times. I were billed once again for sms's.. once again having the same issue, no calls ect and the call centre are absolutely useless! Why do we have to call and call wasting our money and getting no satisfaction? Why do I have to pay for a CONTRACT PHONE which are not useable? As per the contract I pay for usage of phone and calls to limit of R299. Why now after almost 4 months as per your useless Team Leader Samuel We have to load airtime why? We went to H/O and cap file were installed. Still having problem.Still waiting to we have to CANCLE OR SUE!!!

Well I can say that I have been incontact with Virgin on and off for the past three weeks and everytime that I have called 0860000181 , option 2 I had an operator with in 10 seconds each time...

They do answer the phone quickly...first time i called the person said "I dunno, i will escelate it to data support". I phoned back straight afterwards and got to a lady. She knew what was going on and solved the problem quickly!
