Men can't be virgins...EVER!
The first time you ejaculate your "virginity" is gone and yes, that includes wet dreams, masturbating etc.

Women on the other hand are considered a virgin when their hymen is still intact. Google Hymen if you struggling to understand.

Regarding anal sex.
There is no actual hymen to be broken. So the term "virginity" loosely (no giggling) applies to anyone that has not had anal sex.
This does however mean that a girl whose hymen is still intact could actually be no longer an anal virgin.
This type of girl is known as adventurous and interesting by men and slutty and nasty by women.

Whether sex includes fingering, muffing, blowing, heavy-petting (nothing to do with pets actually) or any method of physically pleasuring yourself or any other person does not automatically mean that you or she/he/it are no longer virgins.
Such thinking is only applied in order to include other socially acceptable concepts regarding virginity.

Let me clarify.
We have concocted a spectrum or scale of "virginity" to better suit various socially accepted and yet to be accepted opinions on what constitutes a virgin.

For instance a person with a strong religious acceptance of what a virgin is will differ from a more liberal and sexually active person.
Some might see any sexual intercourse irrespective whether penetration takes place or not the voiding of virginity.
Some might find that anal sex is equal to vaginal and hence voids virginity.

My statement makes it rather clear that socially accepted opinions regarding virginity is as varied as sexual positions.
Basically a new one is created every few minutes.

Note:
By the time this reply has been finalised, 2 new sexual positions have been created.
The 1 includes some fresh fruit and a Parakeet and called Birds of Paradise.
The other requires a hatchet and som tomatoes. It's called Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.

The Only thing I am worried about when it comes to sex is babies and STDs, Fusk Virginity (excuse the pun)
 
As Kage said virgin doesn't have one definition, it's all different with people. Some might say fingering a girl you wont lose virginity, but what about lesbians? All they can do is finger, lick and use dildo, so to them fingering means losing virginity.
