Vista 64

I am looking at installing Vista 64, will this work with COD 4? Do you guys recomend it? I have a Q9300, ATI 3870x2, 4 gigs DDR3 Ram.

i like it, the only advantage is a bit of speed on 64 bit apps. personally i don't have cod4 so i can't test it, but i dont think there should be any reason for it not to work. however i have had it that sometimes something that ran fine on vista 32 just is not compateble with vista 64, in such cases there's usally an official patch avail.

I ran COD 4 with Vista 64 it will work fine. No problems

I can confirm that Call of Duty 4 works on Windows Vista x64.

I was at a computer shop the other day and asked about Vista 64. They said they are only getting Vista 64 NEXT YEAR WTF?

But on topic, COD4 should work pretty fine on Vista 64.

COD4 runs really well on vista 64, just as well as xp.

With your system specs, vista 64 will run like a dream, just remember to turn off the UAC in your account.

Yes it works just that u need a 64bit windows installer to install it.

Dude you have 4 Gigs of DDR3 RAM. YES ITS WORTH IT.

Sorry got carried away there, and trust me there is hardly any extra effort. Most applications will run and install fine. Unless they are old DOS/9x erra programs.

Not to mention Vista 64 for some people (myself included) find it more stable than its 32 bit counter part.

I find vista 64 bit is much better than xp and vista 32 bit.

Also your less prone to virus's on 64 bit os's.

Its worth the effort, believe me their will be some effort and you may get frustrated but remember not to give up.
