vista and ripit4me ... issues

Hey guys

I wanted to know if you guys encountered any issues with dvd shrink/ripit4me with vista.

Vista looks nice and I will consider it if these appls run fine on it.

If they dont run what do you use to back up your dvd's?

Dvdshrink works fine in Vista. I don't know ripit4me, will check it out. Nero works fine too if you have that.

DVD Shrink works fine and converts well to DivX with DVDZip pro and the latest codecs.

yeah ... with 2 small children damaging those freaking expensive disney dvd's - I resort to letting them play only the backed up copies.

the ripit4me/dvdshrink/nero combo has worked for me over the years. I was interested in knowin if anyone has issues with it in Vista.

PS. An interesting tidbit I read says that the piracy ratio for vista compared to XP when it first launched is like 20%. So I am thinking Vista must really be aweful in the long run.

I can vouch that Ripit4me/DVDshrink/DVDencrypter/DVD43 combo works on Vista home premium,I been trying out differant combos and that was one i tryed and it did work on Vista OS ....
I ended settling with AnyDVD + 1clickDVDcopyPro in the finish,both pay programs tho.

it works, had to set all my programs to "run as admin" .... BUT ... my ripped DVD's when i play them in an ordinary DVD player does not start from the beginning ... dunno why !?!??
