Vista Folders not previewing

Hi Everyone

I am having a problem, in vista for some reason when you like look in picture folders there is usually a preview showing some of the pictures that are in the folder. but it isn't doing it anymore.

Can anyone help?

hmmm, i did have that problem a while ago ... cant remember what I did. But in win7 you can choose the folder type (general, video etc)...

Does your "My Pictures" folder in your profile still show the thumbs, or just that generic pic? I seem to remember that it worked in some folders and not in others. Which lends me to think that if Win7 allows you to choose the folder content type, there must be a setting in Vista (could be in the registry) not sure.... I'll try my best to find an answer (the wifes PC still on vista) - will hava looky tonight!
