random question:

I do mac support but seem to come across vista more and more often these days (for things like iPods and iPhones etc)

Does anyone know if microsoft has a programme whereby I can get a free/subsidised copy of vista to load on my Mac so that I have some idea of what im doing in Vista.. I don't intend to use it other than being able to support it??

...or do I need to shell out 2k for retail copy?

Your going to have to shell out R900 for vista.

paying for Microsoft products just goes so much against my nature... I'm really against wasteful spending!

hehe... I hear you. Well at least we are lucky enough for MSoft to have such a thing as OEM DSP. Buying the full "Box" product of Windows is Crazy stuff!
