Why install an OS that hogs resources and diskspace just so you HAVE to upgrade your hardware, software and keep downloading patches to make everything work?
I know the thread states IF both OS's were working, but then again - the hardware & software issues come into play.
XP SP2 runs fine without ANY updates - auto updates turned off forever. IMO (and experience) security and other updates just screw up software and in some cases hardware drivers too.
Vista has a veeeery long way to go before I will re-install it... maybe...
Think I'll stay with XP until Vista Ultimate SP3 is released.![]()
