Hey guys,

Need to make a choice here. Cancelled my 384Kbps account with current ISP. Looking at an ISP that will allow me +- 50GB a month DL's and Local gaming
Saw that Vitality has the 1024Kbps Uncapped account at R298 p.m (Less than what Plugg ISP is asking) which is in budget

Does any 1 have any experience with them on the 1024Kbps accounts e.g speeds during day and night. Gaming latency and so on

Thanks and god bless

Just go get MWEB All incl 1024kbps Bigtime surfer Uncapped ADSL account

For only R599.00 (just give it sometime to transfer your line over).

If you have ANY problems, just come complain in the uncapped thread and an official from Mweb will sort you out :)

Don't give the boy **** advise....

READ the mweb thread and THEN make your decision. it's a fest of "I am getting 0kbps" etc etc... as of RIGHT now, my line is going 50% of max line speed. NNTP.

I would seriously reconsider MWEB. Hence i found this topic so interesting because I am on Vitality already and it's R10 cheaper then MWEB. PLUS i doubt their network is as congested as MWEB coz people take Vitality out for gym and movies etc. Not broadband per say.

It seems to be Plugg isp in different colors and slightly cheaper

Throttle based on usage? :'(

Gotta love SA and our innovative ways of giving people capped uncapped accounts.

Thanks for the feedback guys

As of last night, i see that my Downloads are pushing 80+ Kbps and uploads +-40Bkps. Funny, i'm still on my 384 ISP Package. I'm only being cut off from it on the 30th of June
Ill ask for a test account from Vitality next month and post my findings here

Yeah, I'm thinking it's PluGG too. I signed up a few days ago, as the special through Vitality currently gets you the month of June for free. So I'm gonna be trying it out for a few months and see how the throttling is.

I'm on a 4mb uncapped account though, but I can provide feedback if anyone wants. All I know at this stage is that pings have been very good on the local servers (~90 in BFBC2, ~10 in TF2)

@ Scoperzor
Please provide feedback when you have time

Got a test account for OpenWeb Gold, so will test that in the meantime. But would like some feedback on the Vitality package :-)

Did an online application and the account was ready from the word go. Uncapped 1024 should compliment my 20gb Telkom 8-) nicely will post updates during the month. But sofar torrents are running at 95kB/s
