Vodacom black friday 2024

Makes sense, online is a nightmare, had endless hassles so cancelling rather and going for a decent fibre line instead
Update, finally received my xbox and router today after a lot of back and force and threatening to cancel the deal.

Was it an online order? I am having hassles with mine. Did it on Monday, got approval e-mails and sms from skynet saying it will be delivered soon, but haven't heard anything else. Went to a store yesterday and they couldn't see the application on their system and had to phone "online" to be told that it was awaiting dispatch. Should have done it in store to begin with.

Yea online,, 1st time it was canceled on their side so i had to call in and do it telephonically i applied about 2 weeks ago already and delivery finally came today after endless issues with skynet. Best is call the call centre and query it.

Also grabbed this.
Hoping to have a smooth experience with delivery etc

Got this to replace my 60meg fiber so I can save on monthly costs.

Also replacing my fibre, was paying 675 for a 20/20 due to an exclusivity agreement the developer signed with a no name provider.

Good luck to those, who had the option of Fiber, and still chose Wireless.

Can anyone please advise if data transfer is available on the 800gb or 1tb sim only deals? ( i don't mind if it's only to contract numbers)

Damn making me nervous now, i just finalized the application like 5 mins ago.
I'm currently on mweb 50mb/25mb (+/- R669pm) but the connection isnt great throughout the day and drops at least 3 to 4 times in a day

I'll be happy with min 60mb and at least 10mb upload - in the end, what swayed me was the cost - every cent counts at the moment :( and this will save me a bit in the long run, the extra speed is just a bonus.

i'll post an update with speeds etc once i receive mine. Hope yours improve as well.

If a wired connection drops even once daily, then it deserves to be shut off. You made the right call.

Also can't see myself doing this ever. I understand some want savings, but R100-R250 savings are not worth the pain of a mobile connection vs fibre.
Unless the fibre connection was crap to begin with.

Edit: yeah read the next 2 posts, so that sums it up nicely. Thanks
