Vodacom Business ADSL pricing

i can only guess that its not going to true uncapped in the real sense of it. /awaits the finer print like rollover and so on.

btw, axxess also has uncapped 384 @ R899 (and matching vodacom's prices on all their uncapped pricing)
ADSL : Uncapped Express (Satellite)
Line Speed 10 Day Rolling Threshold Throttled to Pricing
384Kbps [192Kbps upload] 5GB 192kbps R899.00
512kbps [256Kbps upload] 10GB 256kbps R1299.00
1024kbps [384Kbps upload] 20GB 512kbps R2399.00

then again what was the article comparing ? router based uncapped or rollover uncapped ?. maybe a good thing to point that out in the article otherwise its a rainbow comparison. might aswell add in imagineIPS 512's uncapped for R1,117.20 ;)

http://www.gam.co.za/index.php?class=page&objectID=49d08ccf40281

its shaped,
fixed ip 2,
12 month contract,
Concurrent Connections 1,
cisco router,
once of cost R1710.00

though interisting how they put the pricing
Monthly Fee R1664.00 (384k) R2120.00 (512) R3380.00 (1024)

384 Kbps Uncapped R 899 Fibire or sat R 999 this is fiber based and has the 10 Day Rolling ........

The interesting thing for me is the 1024/4096 uncapped. If it does run at 4096 kbps that is great news because the IS lines don't.

I'll take a bet their just re-selling IS's product.

Just tried looking at their website, all it has is images with clouds in them and that man on the far right of that image near the top has a freakishly wide jaw.

And look at the neck of that woman in the middle! Just goes to show you that only mutants do business with Vodacom.

arghhhhhhhhhhh

There is uncapped, and uncapped, and uncapped. Which uncapped is the Vodacom uncappped? A lot more detail with respect to speeds, throttling, and shaping is needed in this story before any reliable pricing comparisons can be made.

Of course they do. After hours of course.
