Vodacom extends mobile broadband promotion

I'd still rather go with CellC, with a 15c OOB rate.
And I sure as hell don't want to be locked in to a 2 year contract with VC (or any SP, actually).
 
Looks my R249 (Vat Incl) for 1GB Month to Month is subsidising this promotion of 1GB for R99pm plus device for 24 months.:mad:
 
The 5GB packages are actually a joke. Who in their right might would pay that sort of money for it?
 
Only fools will fall for this. Cell C and 8ta offer better value. And this coverage story is slowing losing its grip. Been around the country on both 8ta and Voda and I gotta say the match up ito coverage was quite even. So what will Vodacom claim this year? Superior network again? Pshhh
 
They call this a "Promotion"? LMAO

Promotion is Cell C's 5GB Peak and 15GB Off-Peak @ R189pm - 12 Months Contract (be it SIM Only)
AND OB rate is at 15c/MB!

VODASCUM!

Thank you Vodacom for your best effort, sadly your best effort is simply not good enough: for R300 prepaid airtime I have R300 + 900MB + 900 CC2CC SMSes + 900 CC2CC minutes + no contract.
 
I still do not understand why VDC OOB rates have to be so incredibly high.... Surely they make money with the IB rates, and if they double the IB rates when going OOB, then most would deem it fair. No?

Normal logic does not apply to these guys. Their motive is too milk as much as possible from consumers. Fair is a forbidden word in this line of business.
