Isn't that the address thing to do with your ARP table... No MAC address no send data... The whole protocols stack story. I really don't know enough about it... Just wondering.

Assuming that Vodacom's bandwidth usage increases by 10% overall.
The only question I haven't seen asked. As SEACOM isn't online yet...

Where is this 10% extra bandwidth coming from... 10% of Vodacom's entire bandwidth budget must be a pretty big number... Not to mention 10% or more to new business.

I have seen a few comments about who might be paying for the 10%, though that's a little obvious...

Unfortunately I have to side with the guys who are watching from the wings to see what happens next...

Theory: Vodacom got nailed with taxes, and, to "cap" their profit for SARS purposes, they "bought" more bandwidth (extra costs) and are "giving it away"... it's all a scam to pay less tax!

And don't worry, we, the customers, have footed the bill a thousand times over!

I just added 3 prepaid 5MB bundles and got 90MB for it. at a total cost of R27.75 that works out to 30.83 cents a MB. To get that kind of rate you'd have to normally get at least a MyGig 1 at R289.00. The funny thing is that the 5MB is the most effective in the smaller bundles. If you buy two 20 MB bundles you'll also get 90MB for it but the total cost will be R56 which works out to 62.22 cents. That's double the 5MB rate. So the moral of the story is get a whole lot of 5MB bundles (prepaid)

Has anyone else notice how fast this "free data" disappears. Every time I buy less than 25Mb, the data disappears real fast indeed just browsing.

Let's not forget what a promo is. I'm not complaining, but they've been raping our wallets for years. Maybe think of what happens if people buy too much data and it expires in 47 days. Who gets to keep the money you spent?

Where does it tell you that on the site? I don't want to be correct here I was liking the promotion. I don't want to have to pay R189 now to get the same in bundle rate i was getting during the promotion. When ever I ran out I just got a few 5 MB bundles at R9.25 each. The 5 MB bundle under the promotion was 30 MB. a few of those and i was sorted. Now the option closest to that is R189 for 500 MB. Not Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!
