It takes a couple of weeks to filter through to the retail channels, try beginning of October or maybe last week of September.

Thanks

Having waited for this phone since announced last year, am finding these final few weeks ( here's hoping they are just weeks now ! ) very trying...:)

M600i(black) is already available through Cell C...went around to their V&A Waterfront store last night and they're offering the phone at R3900 sans starterpack.

Waaah!

V n A is 20 minutes away... I must resist...

IF the M600i had a camera I'd be there like a shot !

Still, I'd love to see one in the 'flesh'...

P990i where are you ?!

The P990i release is imminent, it has been on Cell C's dealer price list for over 2 months, cost of R 4 999 ex VAT, there has been EURO stock floating in the market, was at R 10 000, has come down to about R 7000, I think the P990 will come out at about R 6500 - R 7000 local stock....

As soon as we have an ETA, we'll put them up on eXactmall, offer 5% discount on pre-orders in addition to the killer price

Nokia N73

Tahir can probably answer that, but once it passed (and it is actually released), probably a few weeks to filter down the channel.

Had a lot of requests for the ETA of this handset, thus this new thread.

Hi.

Do you know for how long the N73 has been in the testing center since my contract is coming to an end...Would really appreciate it if u reply to [email protected].

Sony Ericsson K618i, Not yet tested? I assume it will work since it's not much different from K610i

SonyEricsson P990,M600 and Nokia 6234 will be available from Vodacom next month. Its on the price lists for October till November 06

@vodacom3g

Any idea where in the process the HTC TyTn is in terms of getting approved? Has it been received for testing yet? I know there is a thread somewhere that keeps track of the phones but I cannot locate it at present.

Thanks

Yea, what is the ETA on the phones? Any progress? When? 8) I cant wait to get my hands on the TyTN!! cant wait!! :D

I have the TyTn that I imported and use on VodaCom. The only problem I have is that voicemail notification smses aren't sent through. Apparently this is also a problem on the Vodafone networks with the 121 voicemail service and the TyTn users are hoping that a firmware upgrade will solve this problem. Otherwise I don't see why VodaCom wouldn't approve the phone. Oh i'm also running the JasJam firmware on my TyTn as it's faster and mroe reliable.

Thanks for the info Ari - we will just have to wait on the networks now. It seems Leaf is happy enough to be taking orders for the phone now and I am sure the networks will get it sorted out soon.

Is the Jasjam firmware different to the HTC firmware and in what way?
