Hi
Any news on the SE P990i ???
Thanks
The Sony Ericsson P990i and i-Mate Smartflip were endorsed for use on the Vodacom Network.
It takes a couple of weeks to filter through to the retail channels, try beginning of October or maybe last week of September.I know, thanks...
more specifically...when can we expect to see it IN THE STORES ?
Cheers

Tahir can probably answer that, but once it passed (and it is actually released), probably a few weeks to filter down the channel.
Had a lot of requests for the ETA of this handset, thus this new thread.
Remember, the phone is rated at 3.6Mb/s, the network not yet.
Does anyone know about the availability of de Nokia N73?
if u hev anything please e-mail me at [email protected]

Any idea where in the process the HTC TyTn is in terms of getting approved? Has it been received for testing yet? I know there is a thread somewhere that keeps track of the phones but I cannot locate it at present.
Thanks
Thanks for the info Ari - we will just have to wait on the networks now. It seems Leaf is happy enough to be taking orders for the phone now and I am sure the networks will get it sorted out soon.I have the TyTn that I imported and use on VodaCom. The only problem I have is that voicemail notification smses aren't sent through. Apparently this is also a problem on the Vodafone networks with the 121 voicemail service and the TyTn users are hoping that a firmware upgrade will solve this problem. Otherwise I don't see why VodaCom wouldn't approve the phone. Oh i'm also running the JasJam firmware on my TyTn as it's faster and mroe reliable.
