Vodacom increasing prices

What's the point of the contract if you have no idea what you're really signing up for? What's stopping them from increasing everything by R100/m and then you can't afford the contract anymore?

In theory, and I think there was a thread on thus, you are scoring on the subsidised cellphone....in theory.

For me it is so I can claim costs from work, but I'll ask HR about that. Cell phones don't need to be replaced every two years any more any way.

And this is just the tip ... we are being screwed by every single entity we deal with.

Well it's becoming more like gambling than a contract if you ask me.

I can't see how this is legal without the option for the customer to terminate?

I don't see how it is either.. If you read the contract, nothing is in favor of the consumer, all in the favor of vodacon.

We seriously all need to do something about this.. It's daylight robbery!

This is why you never sign up with the biggest supplier of something. Very little reason to keep prices low.

I read (I'm sure it was off MyBB) about a group of guys that help out with legal assistance - they are currently doing something for E-Tolls. On their website, they have a link where one can submit other things. I'm sure this would be a great place to start...

For the life of me I cannot recall the name of the site...
