Thanks for the link. I searched earlier whether it had WI-FI but could not find anything. Shows you how fast people jumped to conclusions but then again the writer should have mentioned the fact that it has WI-FI in the article.

It's Android, it should be.

Settings >> Wireless and Networks >> Mobile Networks and untick "Use packet data".

My S4 broke and has gone in for repairs. So I got a kicka for the time being. What great value for R550, a tad slow but very capable. And the best part is the amazing battery life.
