Unfortunately me and the shops cant provision services on prepaid numbers. Prepaid customers need to phone 082111
Once provisioned....APN needs to be set to lte.vodacom.za
Hope I got that APN right....will double check it again tomorrow morning on the memo when back at work.

I did but they said unavailable for prepaid customers at the moment? True or did the person not know what they were talking about?

Yes...that is correct. Sorry...I sped read through the memo.
Look out for LTE devices and deals in Vodacom stores before the end of October 2012.
To access the LTE service you will need:
To be within a LTE coverage area (PDF file, 2MB)
To be a Vodacom Contract customer
A compatible LTE device with the APN set to lte.vodacom.za
Have a 64k or 128k SIM card

Is topup considered as contract?

Yes...hybrid...not sure about in this case though as Top Up runs on the prepaid billing engine.

hehe. Ja nee. We got a memo detailing the activation process. I also checked on on a live number on the system....the lte VAS is now loaded on our system to activated.

No. Sim requirement is 64k minimum. Then we still have to activate LTE for you which is something I can do or the shops or customer care. Once that is done...you need to change your APN. That is what the memo said....that is what Jannie said (I spoke to him and asked him this personally and he confirmed it) .... and I have confirmed it on a live number on the system....it needs to be activated. Even so....you need LTE equiment....so either modem/router or a phone ... else we can activate untill we blue in the face...but you will still only get HSPA
