Why not the Galaxy S2?

Also why don't they list New iPad and iPhone 5? Won't it work here on these devices?

iPad 3rd gen is USA LTE frequencies only. One of the iPhone 5 models should work here, but you'll only hear anything about support once it is officially launched.

I WANT I WANT I WANT...:D

But where can I buy one of the modems ?

Been looking online and all I see is the launch mentioned.

Based in Sandton, JHB

Probably a silly question, but I don't suppose the current Galaxy S3 that we all know and love will work on the new LTE network will it? Phoned service provider but call centre agent had absolutely no idea what I was talking about - "what LTE / 4G, thats a very fancy phone so it should be able to work yes, I'll activate it for you". Very unfortunate. From what I could ascertain only a specific variant of the S3 will support the LTE network and this will only go on sale through Vodacom as of November this year?

No...the current S3 that we have been selling is not LTE capable.

You need to activate the service? When will it be in PE

Yes....we need to provision you for it before you can use it. You then also need to change the APN and have a 64K card minimum. Activation of the services is free and can take 24 hours to complete.
