Vodacom loses iPhone exclusivity

Too little too late...i already know more people with androids than iphone...
That's also why vodacom hiked the price on the bloody things...they had to sell an unlocked phone that could be used on Cellc and MTN.
Viva competition....

MTN would only state that it "does not respond to rumours or speculation in the market".

Thats what it is, rumours and speculation...

I'll be going to MTN. I've been with Vodacom for years now and am sick of their rubbish service. I don't care if MTN is worse, Vodacom need to work on customer loyalty. My monthly bill is around R1500 to Vodacom and they really don't give a **** about you unless you're a corporate subscriber.

Oh and I'm also so sick of hearing Vodacom Super 14, Vodacom Stormers, Vodacom Park... Putting Vodacom in front of everything does not a good company make. In fact it's bloody annoying...

Take it from someone who've ported from CellC to MTN; MTN sucks. Your bill would most probably be around the same with them. I tried minimizing my phone use last month; still came up with a bill of over a grand and they couldn't explain to me how come - my itemised billing showed mostly free calls and freaking smses of R0.79 - CellC charged R0.35 (I kid you not) - and "unexplained data connections".

Can't wait to go back to CellC - rather the devil that I know. In fact, there was nothing wrong with CellC; I just ported to a different network for a change.

It seems that all the mobile operators suck in SA. I lived in the UK for a few years and was amazed at the service I received. They really, really want you to be a customer. In SA they don't really care at all as they know it's more or less a captive market.

Cell C without a decent data service is a waste. My wife gave up on Cell C recently after being with them from the start. With every upgrade came new promises of "3G/HSPA is coming soon ...". Now it's "4G is coming soon ...". Then it will be "5G is coming soon ...".
