Vodacom mobile blocking VPN/IPSEC Traffic

I have noticed since last week thursday, Vodacom mobile is blocking VPN/IPSEC Traffic. The tunnel established bud does not allow traffic! Any advise? Unrestricted does not help as an APN also.

That's probably the day they switched back their routing to the WACS undersea cable.

Sorry to resurrect an oldish thread, I have the exact same issue. I have an IPsec VPN to my home Mikrotik, all other WiFi connections work that I use, except Vodacom. It connects, there is just no traffic possible.

Was this ever resolved. I am hesitant to make changes since it works 99.9% of the time, it's just seems to be something on Vodacom that may be blocking.

When it comes to Vodacom, these problems will probably persist in perpetuity.

Thanks, it has the feel of active blocking by VC, but could be wrong. Will just use my Telkom sim2 when need to vpn to home, not ideal but no choice I guess.

Apply for the unrestricted APN, change your APN then its sorted.
