Vodacom Mozambique - Abysmal data rate

Since they cut the price of data more than a year ago the throughput on the network has staedily degraded to the point where it is no longer really functioning.

Sms messages to service to money functions sometimes take 8 hours to answer.

It takes up to 20 tries to connect.

85% of the time there is no Internet access.

Messages to the service centre are ignored.

Typical African state of affairs:(:(:(

Fortunately Movitel is rolling out a third network. Then we'll have our revenge on Vodacom:):):)
 
Where is this, I last used Vodacom Mozambique in Ponta do Ouro, it was OK, but this was 18 months ago ?

I have asked the relevant role players to have a look at this thread , and i will provide feedback as i get it.

could you please provide us exatly where have you experienced this? also the SIM number you are using to connet internet .
