I see that Video calls are no longer part of bundled minutes. Got charged for a call when I had bundled minutes remaining, not nice!

Also noticed this:
Your free Itemised Billing access on Vodacom4me will expire on 26-11-2008. To subscribe to the Itemised Billing service (R17.10 per month), simply click here
something I still can't fathom, when is Pick 'n Pay going to ask us wether we want an itemised bill for our shopping at R17.10?

Considering all the billing debacles we hear about itemised billing should never be charged for.

Me neither - r17 to generate a few extra PDF pages?
You are dead right, and what if you get your billing online? What does it cost? The system to do it was probably paid for years ago. If you take half of Voda subscribers say 10 million multiplied by R17, = R170 million for what? Every month !!!

Vodacom like every other company is just trying to make as much money as they can.
That's your explanation!
Nothing is for free anymore!

Is itemized billing an optional extra?

Do you have access to your call records even if you don't have itemized billing?

Currently yes, via the Vodacom4me website, but thats all about to change, so unless we pay them to show us what they're charging us for, they could add any old amount on there

This used to happen with telkom all the time.

Never, I would imagine. Well, not as long as Raymond Ackerman is head of the company. I like to think he's one of the 'old school' - the way companies used to do business, not screwing people for every last cent they have.

Oh, and BTW...:)

no old old school is not screwing u for your last cent
old school is screwing you for your last cent, which still isnt half as bad as today business school, screw you for your last R50, cause 1c isnt worth anything anymore, and then we'll screw u in the butt crack and then we'll still screw up your service, become incompetent and you will still pay us for it

I'm with Vodacom and i dont pay for my itamised billing. :D

When i upgraded a asked the lady at the cell phone shop not to activate it as i have no use for an itemised bill every month..... she said they had to activate it as its "protocall", but i have yet to pay for it :D and i get the itemised bill in the post every month :D :D

Lets hopw they do not realise their mistake.
