Vodacom pre-paid hits 2c per-second

This is good news. Cellc is 99cent while 8ta or telkom mobile is 95cent. Now VC and Mtn are neck and neck.

Retarded Fails:
1) only pre-paid
2) opt in
3) pointless after 12am "value" (please read with maximum sarcasm)

Please just go away Vodcom, this is just sad and pathetic. Match what Cell C is doing or GTFO

I don't get it.. why not go 98c flat fee, undercut everyone, and forget about the stupid night shift thing? Oh wait... maybe because Vodacom doesn't get it.

Good, but not better than Cell C.

Cell C FTW!

Thanks changed to this. Still using up my balance from converting from topup to prepaid. :)

Yeah, I just need to jump on the band wagon. Cell C is all I hoped it would be. I was being raped by MTN and since moving to Cell C I have no complaints. Best move ever. 99c per minute = 1.5c/s < 2c/s

Plus the data transfer speed is so good. I have been able to down load at 11Mbps in Benoni and 5-7 Mbps in Secunda.

Oh, and yeah I was cry with laughter when The CEO of MTN said they would not drop their prices because they are still the cheapest operator. What a load of hot air.

I switched for now but will soon be going with cell-c as their deals and rates are so much better.

Seems like I will be the only one then changing from CellC to Vodascum. My CellC is almost unusable, when I try to phone out I have to retry 4-5 times, people trying to phone me gets shunt directly to voicemail. Even after I put in a complaint with hellopeter I got a ... guess what... sms with voice mail from cellc that someone tried to phone from 084140! BWAHAHAHAHA. I'm using a Samsung Google Nexus S which never gave problems before CellC so I guess I cant blame the phone.

It's always easier to cross subsidise price reductions when you're fleecing your clients with exorbitant OOB rates...

Dammit!!!! Just saw I'm on 4U Prepaid:

Vodacom to Vodacom (Peak) R 2.58
Vodacom to Vodacom (Off-peak) R 1.12
Vodacom to other (Peak) R 2.75
Vodacom to other (Off-peak) R 1.30

Switching right now to this new one

Jees, another opt in piece of nonsense?

Really, I would have thought that the amount of abuse the Vodacom are getting on these forums would at least tell them they need to simplify their product offering, not make it more damn complex.
