Vodacom prepaid data prices slashed

I agree, they could've at least extended it to two months. But I'm not complaining, I shouldn't have a problem getting rid of 20gb in thirty days.

I'm just glad that this is available, it's better than nothing at all. ;)

So glad for our platteland forumites! ;)

Anyone else bought the 20gig bundle and not have it show up yet in your balance yet? I bought it 2 hours ago and it is yet to reflect in my bundle balance, but the R499 went off though.

i think some of these companies use these specials as bait, kinda like drug dealers 'hook em up first and they'll pay later' *wink*. Perfect example is the youngest mobile provider and its 3GB offer.

Same problem, airtime deducted - no 20gb bundle

Edit: I get "an error has occurred, please try again later"

Edit 2: It seems like the bundle loaded although I received an error when buying.

Vodacom USB Dongle

I have a Vodacom USB dongle which came free with another purchase. I've RICA'd the SIMM, which gives me 100MB per month. It's a "Yebo4Less Prepaid" package with "VSP" service provider. I've logged into the VodaCom website with the cell number, etc., but cannot find these promotional prices to buy anywhere. Any ideas?

You must put the sim in a phone use USSD from what Jannie says. *111#

Janine, thanks for "slashing" the prepaid prices. I would be interested in the 20 GB one, however, the 30 day thing just killed it for me. What happened to the accepted industry standard of bundles that expire at the end of the following month ? To make it REALLY attractive, would be to offer the 20 GB over a 6 month period.

No sir, I will stay with 8ta and Cell C.

Just to confirm: Cell C and 8ta expire data at the end of the following month?

Same way you would be billed if you bought on the website, you must have R499 in the card

Ok, I can see the promotional options on *111# from a phone now. How does this work with the 100MB this SIMM gets automatically every month? Just adds to it?
