What is your current monetary balance?

This is a stuff-up we're busy fixing, this problem that if you disconnect within the last 500KB, you're stuck with a 'stuck' bundle.

Phone 155 and ask them to 'reset' your bundle so you can buy a new one. Not sure how they do it, but they told me they've got a procedure.

You could also try to put some money into your account and then connect just long enough to eat up the last few bytes of your current bundle. This should kill it, so you can buy a new one.

I got more than enough money in my account but still i cant connect to the internet on my computer nor my cell.Im on prepaid.I did phone vodocom i they told me they cant reset the bundle.

Just want to know is there a problem with the network in PTA-North? The last week has been terrible 1st I though it was the rain but saturday and sunday was sunny and clear and I still had major problems.

:p:rolleyes::p;)

problems again in port elizabeth. 619 errors disconnecting. very slow.
not nice.
prepaid

You need to stand downwind from the tower. Signal is being blown away from you.

Slow on local as well? What are you getting on http://speed.vodacom.co.za/?

There was a problem affecting prepaid users over the last week or so but this was fixed on Friday (via an actual, genuine, pukka Telkom upgrade!! (contrary to popular believe these are not mythical things but do actually exist!!)), so that should be resolved.

@stix, can you be more specific on the latency thing? How can I test what you're seeing?

Having the following speed in milnerton area

Download speed: 371 kbps
Upload speed : 57 kbps ????

Very slow since Sunday evening. Definitely something to do with the termination at Proes Str Street judging from the other comments above because that is also where I terminate. Any news on this V3G? I tested on Vodacom Speed Test and got:

Download: 235 kbps
Upload: 288 kbps

BUT ... the test took almost 7 minutes to complete due to timeouts. Seems the problems from several weeks ago are back, but I really hope not.

Makes 2 of us. We did identify and rectify the problem, so I need to ask if this is something new.

The rest of Pta seems quiet though....maybe they're still reeling from our near-loss....

We've got one PE, one Magaliesburg and one Cape Town right now, so it might be local rather. If it was a common problem, this widespread, the forum would have lit up like a Xmas tree.

3G speed

Very good 3G speed (max 384/64), but for sure not HSDPA.

Is this with your phone? Is it a HSDPA phone? Or is it it in a data card?

Using my Nokia 6680 (3G) via my computer to go on the internet.

3G speed

Done again a speed test

Download : 376 kbps
Upload : 51 kbps

Why is upload test so low should it not be more higher.
