Vodacom pulls the plug on 3c/MB broadband service: Webstorm explains

I would like this opportunity to say a big FU to Vodacom for being such a bully and fat cat.
 
This means that vodacom must obviously still make a profit on corporate apns and that they could offer cellc pricing if they wanted to, they just don't.
 
Guess woudaarkom likes squishing goggas and causing a storm in doing so.

How about sticking to your original agreement? Sickening
 
How is it possible that a company enters an agreement, realizes they made a mistake, up their prices with 80% and gets away with it?

Note to woudaarkom: scrutinize BEFORE you enter an agreement.
 
I am not impressed.

Legal advice pertaining to the forthcoming Consumer Protection Act, as well as a decision by Vodacom management, has caused Webstorm to come to this decision.

Once the new Special 3G offer became publicly known, management at Vodacom scrutinized the APN agreement that they have entered into with Webstorm and concluded that the incorrect product (Corporate APN ) was deployed. According to Vodacom, this type of APN does not provide the right to resell bandwidth to the public. Vodacom has amended its pricing structures upwards by some 80% to facilitate the reseller APN solution.

Webstorm was going to carry substantial risk under the initial “incorrect APN” yet, thought well of it, to service the market with a highly competitive product, very close to that of a Cell C offering.
