I just got an update of over 400mb. Does anyone know if it is Android 4.3?

Downloading slowly atm.
 
Was it via OTA? Please post screen shots :) Patiently waiting for my update to arrive..

I must still play around with it, but the phone appears a fraction faster. My test is how long it takes the camera app to open and close and it is a bit faster.

I am interested to see if I notice anything on battery usage
 
Interesting - I'm still on 4.1.2

Doesn't show any available updates.

My phone is getting near to the 2 year mark, and battery life is not great any more. Wondering if 4.3 will help... or just buy a new battery.... Anyone replaced their battery?
 
It is very strange. My wife also has the S3 and numerous people I know and it was only my phone that got the update.

And to celebrate I got into the pool yesterday with it in my pocket...so now it is dead and at Samsung! :(

Mine was on a new battery. I always factor in a new battery at the halfway mark to my next upgrade
 
I bought a new battery 3 weeks for my S3 a few weeks ago - awesome!

Never had this performance even at new

The 4.3 update includes TRIM support, which is a file system write performance improvement.

It works. I tested my SD card write performance on 4.1.2 and it was 11MB/s, but on 4.3 it shot up to 26MB/s.

You'll see things open and run much faster now. :D
 
And do you also have the HUGE fonts in the Messaging (sms) app now?
