Would be great if they dropped all the current contract holders tariffs. I'm currently paying R539pm for tab and 1gb data with night owl. Hope Vodacom drops the prices cuz R539 is rape!

Have to agree with the comments that this is underwhelming.
The 10.1 has been around for some time now and there are MANY competing Android tabs which (for every other industry not controlled by colluding "competitors") should've resulted in significant price drops. Ok i understand that there is some base cost associated witht he device and the data but cmon, that's almost R9k over the 24 months... Just too steep.

Whilst it is nearly R9k over 24 months,

I would assume the tablet is only "costing" R150pm whilst the data is the rest of the cost... so the tablet is probably only costing about R3600 over the 24 month period.

I know this is the way the technology works... but i bought the original Tab 10.1V then it came out: 500mb data, V version for R499p/m - this was just 6 months ago!
Now you get this 'updated' tab with 2GB data for R369p/m
its just sad...
Now I'm stuck with an obsolete tablet (that doesn't even get an update btw!) on a much more expensive contract!
