Vodacom-to-Vodacom remote access problem

Hi,

I have a Huawei LTE router with a Vodacom sim, which I've configured with the 'unrestricted' APN and dynamic dns to allow remote access.

This works well if I try connecting from a device that uses another internet provider (eg. fiber), but does not work when trying to connect from a device that also uses Vodacom for its internet (eg. my cell phone).

Is this a known issue? Any suggestions on how I can get around it, other than changing my cell phone to a different cellular network?

I just thought I'd add some screenshots from a Ping app on my phone - to highlight the issue.
The problem occurs regardless of whether I use the dynamic DNS name, or the actual IP - so I think that rules out any DNS lookup problems.
