Why do they still not quote data left when they send these warning SMSs? All you get is a notification that your data is about to run out? When you look you find that only 40% of your data is used. Why don't they put the balance in the SMS? Is it that hard? The ALTNUM notifications are now alarmist marketing messages to have you running to top up to prevent going OOB.

LOL - sorry to LOL at you but you have obviously not drunk the Vodacom Kool-Aid (as espoused by @jannie) - don't you know that ALTNUM is THE solution to your OOB woes.

In the beginning it actually showed data balances. Now it's just a warning and advert for you to run and buy more data.

The original calculations did not take additional bundles, etc. into account so I pulled the calculated number. The correct number will be (back) in the message soon.
