Vodamail POP 3 syncing issues

Hi,

My Vodamail account is setup on Outlook 365.

Currently it does not want to connect to the Vodamail server returning error 0x800CCC90.

it regularly does this, but since last week Wednesday it does not want to connect at all.

Signing in onto the Vodamail website and accessing my email through the Vodamail portal works perfectly, so it is not a Username or Password error.

Where can I start looking and what can I do to rectify the issue?

@RMat1985 - This Vodamail issue has been one that regularly occurs with POP3 (Point Of Presence 3) protocol over many years, without Vodacom ever permanently mitigating this problem. They do not offer a full IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) Server use only limited IMAP 4 server.

Sorry we do not have a solution to your problem but humbly suggest accessing Vodamail via your Browser instead of any Email Client and then move your Email service to a full IMAP server such as Outlook.com and the many other similar services out there. Create permanent Forwarding Rules in Vodamail Owa to your Outlook.com

As a matter of interest your Office 365 = Microsoft Account with a Premium Outlook.com Email service accessible by Browser (Owa) or Email Client Outlook or Outlook Mobile on your Android phone.
