VOIP vs Landline

Lots of injectors are 12 and 24V which will not work so make sure you get a 48V / 802.3af injector. What phone as maybe getting a power supply is simpler?

Its one of these OpenScape Desk Phone CP205
They dont use conventional power supplies. These use a power supply with some sort of RJ11 connector which plugs into the back of the phone - coming from the power supply.
I cant even figure track a model number for the power supply...

Ended up getting a Linksys SPA942 VOIP handset. This one uses a very basic 5v 2a power adapter to supply power. Picked one up at the local electronics shop for R100.
After a small amount of configuring, I got the phone setup using it's web interface.
