Volume pricing: Axxess rip-off?

Check this XY graph I created from the prepaid (semi-)shaped per-GB pricing: check...

Thus, Axxess is ripping off clients: the more you buy, the more you pay! :mad:

EDIT: Ah I see it's gigs bought. You could of course buy 1GB and enable 1GB auto top-up at 100MB and make sure you are always aware of your usage. Not the most ideal situation for sure. But if the R16 extra between doing this and buying 100GB is worth it to you, then hey there you go.

I do agree though it is strange that volume doesn't warrant discount in this case.

Are people actually watching that PB program still?

Anyone buying 200GB of b/width per month will never be paying those rates...they'll get negotiated rates that won't be published.

Since I normally use 10G top-ups, I pay R9 extra! The R9 isn't the issue in terms of affordability... but over time it adds up, and at every 8th top-up it means I have more than a full gig!

Think I'll change to 1GB top-ups...

I stopped watching middle season 2..
Got better things to spend my time on.
Where is the series now? season 5?
 
my wife still watches although she keeps moaning it's gotten worse than a soapy (and she hates the 'real' soapies)...but she still watches anyway...chicks hey? ;)
Not sure what season is currently airing, but for it to be still going on...those okes must be the dumbest bunch of nitwits to still be breaking out of jails.

Just to stay on topic:
yes, it's appalling how Axxess are ripping off the big spenders
 
So at R70 odd per gig, you pay R700 for 10GB? At that point why not go with the Uncapped Fibre?
